Team AUVMU is a group of 20 enthusiasts from multi-disciplinary backgrounds that work on fully Autonomous underwater robotics.
Formed in 2019, the team members are committed to designing and building the most effective AUV designs that can execute specific tasks without human input for competitions at both National and International levels.
Now and beyond !
Our journey in underwater robotics began with the creation of AUV-Makara, our first autonomous underwater vehicle. Building on that foundation, we developed BlackPearl, a more advanced AUV designed for underwater surveying, object identification, and acquisition. With each iteration, we’ve made strides in expanding our expertise, from Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs) to Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs).Our expertise extends to both Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs) and Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs), and our progress is powered by three dedicated teams.
Our Electrical Team powers and integrates sensors for precise navigation and object detection, while the Software Team develops algorithms that give Makara real-time decision-making capabilities. The Mechanical Team constructs a durable, hydrodynamic frame essential for underwater movement. Together, these teams drive us forward, enabling new milestones in underwater robotics and pushing the boundaries of what our AUVs can achieve.
